In addition to commercial energy efficiency and typical HVAC work, Entek provides Home Energy Performance services which includes inspecting the house for insulation, air tightness, and the heating ventilating system. They perform measures like air sealing of the thermal envelope of the house and sealing heating ducts with a system called Areoseal.
At their Vancouver facility, Entek has taken steps to reduce their energy costs:
- The building is separated into 2 separate zones for heating and cooling.
- Storage area has T5 lighting and motion sensors.
- Outdoor lighting is off during daylight hours.
