The Port of Camas-Washougal was founded in 1935 by a vote of the people. Its mission is to strengthen and diversify the existing economic base of the port district here in Clark County, Washington. The port provides facilities and services for land, air, and water-based commerce in order to enhance employment and recreational opportunities, contributing to the quality of life in the community.
Green Business Features
- Annual community Earth Day litter clean up event where staff and volunteers clear litter around the waterfront businesses, recreational trails, and park grounds.
- 7 electric vehicle charging stations are available on site.
- An electric and hybrid vehicle is provided for staff use.
- As a certified Clean Marina Business, the port engages in environmentally-sound operating and maintenance procedures.
- Eliminated use of disposables in the breakroom by installing a dishwasher and providing reusable silverware.
- Plan in place for regular cleaning of catch basins.
