green neighbors birthday bash - beneficial bats

Celebrate at the Green Neighbors "Beneficial Bats" birthday party. Advance registration for the event is requested. 

Guest speaker Brandon Burger with Backyard Bird Shop will talk about local bats, how bats support local ecosystems, and what people can do to support them. Bat specimens will be on display and partygoers can take fun photos with props. The event will also include raffle prizes and light refreshments. In honor of Green Neighbors' waste-reduction mission, guests who bring their own reusable cup will receive a second raffle ticket.

The Clark County Composter Recycler program is offering free virtual fall workshops highlighting lasagna gardening, green cleaning, recycling and food waste prevention.

Find our Clark County Composter Recycler program booth at The Pumpkin Harvest Festival in Washougal. Learn about composting, green cleaning and low waste living while celebrating the fall season! 

Local families are invited to wear their Halloween costumes, play games, win prizes, and pick out a free pumpkin (one per child until supplies last). The event will take place rain or shine.
