Spring is in the air— and so is business sustainability!  It has been a busy month for the Clark County Green Business team as we prepare to support national Food Waste Prevention Week, April 1-7.  Be sure to follow us on Instagram to stay up to date and please join us in sharing inspirational messages about reducing food waste in your workplace and at home.

Kayla Anderson is a climate science communicator and digital marketer dedicated to using her expertise to catalyze positive change. She has been acknowledged as one of Harvard Chan C-CHANGE's "Climate Creators to Watch" and was a speaker at Harvard Chan C-CHANGE's Youth Climate Summit in 2022. Kayla studied Environmental Science & Policy at CSU Long Beach.

Green Neighbors Upcoming Events

  

Through a partnership with Clark County Public Health, the City of Vancouver and WSU Clark County Extension SNAP-ED, the Conscious Consumption Series includes workshops, events and educational opportunities for residents of all ages. This series is hosted at the Cascade Park Community Library. Learn about sustainability topics including food waste reduction, worm bin composting, sustainable fashion, crafting with recycled materials and more!

The Environmental Film Series, hosted by the Watershed Alliance of Southwest Washington and co-sponsored by Clark County Green Neighbors and the Vancouver Community Library is back! Learn more and see the showings here.
