- Encourage community engagement by sponsoring the Water Resource Center and the Watershed Alliance Beach Cleanups. They sponsor field trips, plant tours, and the annual summer clean-ups.
- The green team meets bimonthly and monitors progress towards annual goals/initiatives in sustainability, stewardship, and energy.
- Recycling containers are paired with garbage containers throughout the facility.
- Additional stewardship activities include battery recycling, waste oil analysis/recycling, scrap metal recycling, plastic film recycling, on-site composting, and small electronics recycling.
- Water reuse system utilized for processing water and irrigation.
- 2021 Water Resource Utility of the Future Today winner
