My business is out of my home. Can I get certified?
The Clark County Green Business program was designed to apply to businesses located in non-residential spaces. If you operate a home-based business, you may not qualify for certification. Please contact us for details.

How much time will I need to get certified?
The amount of time required to complete the certification process varies depending on the complexity of your organization and the green practices you already have in place. To apply for certification, all businesses complete a Green Business assessment, which is a tool to help you collect information that will be used to measure your environmental performance and lists the minimum requirements for earning certification.

How long is my Green Business recognition valid?
It is recommended that you and your green team review Green Business requirements annually to ensure you’re maintaining existing green practices, but Green Business certification is valid for 3 years. Following that period, you will be contacted by Green Business program staff and will be eligible to re-certify to the most current program standards.
