- Sustainability initiatives are organized into three focus areas: practice, training and operations. With this organizational structure, they are able to incorporate sustainability into their projects, professional trainings for employees and internal operations.
- Computers that are no longer needed are offered to employees for reuse.
- Employees are encouraged to volunteer in the community and receive 8 hours of paid time off for volunteering 16 hours. Otak coordinates with the City of Vancouver to organize litter pickups in downtown Vancouver.
- A green catering policy encourages family-style service and reusable supplies as much as possible.
- Recycled content copy paper and green cleaning products are purchased.
