  • TSMC Washington is committed to reducing their impact on global warming by reaching 85% GHG abatement by 2025. 
    • TSMC Washington has reduced Greenhouse Gases over 40% between 2014 and 2021.
    • Since 2018, TSMC Washington has used 100% Renewable Energy.
    • TSMC Washington participates in the Clark Public Utilities Green Lights program which supports the development of clean, earth-friendly electricity.
    • TSMC Washington also helps employees reduce their carbon footprint by participating in Clark County's We Compost program as a community hub and provides employees with a commute-trip reduction program, bike racks and shower facilities, and assistance in identifying public transportation options. 
  • TSMC Washington has an on-site de-ionization (DI) plant which allows for the reuse of 60% of water usage. Water is re-purified and reused for process water, cooling towers and scrubbers.
  • Hosts an annual Earth Week event for all employees.
  • Solid waste at TSMC Washington has been reduced by 70% by sending filter cakes for reuse.
