Nominations are now open for the 2020 Green Awards where we will recognize a small Green Business of the Year (25 or fewer employees), a large Green Business of the Year (more than 25 employees) and a nonprofit/government Green Business of the Year.
Businesses merit this award because of their outstanding efforts to continually reduce their environmental footprint and improve their progress on a continuum of qualifying sustainable criteria. Green businesses and organizations are committed to working toward sustainability and have documented efforts to refine their practices to protect the environment, support and engage employees, and give back to their community. It is acceptable to nominate businesses and/or apply for your own business. A business must be Clark County Green Business certified before Dec. 31, 2019 to qualify for an award.
The 2020 Clark County Green Awards event is on March 18 at Kiggins Theatre in downtown Vancouver. Nominations are open now and due by Jan. 10.
