Green Business Spotlight: Sekidenko Inc, an Advanced Energy Company

Sekidenko is a supplier of high-tech thermometers for use in the manufacture of semiconductors as part of Advanced Energy, which designs and manufactures equipment to measure, control and deliver precise electric power in applications including medical devices, solar energy, automotive, and aerospace technologies.  

Sekidenko certified as a Clark County Green Business this year, 2019. All business certifying with the program work to reduce their impact and increase efficiency in areas including waste/recycling, energy, water, and more. Where Sekidenko stands out is: 

  • Their work with suppliers to reduce packaging waste
  • Providing a shower for employees who bike to work 
  • Collection of bubble wrap for reuse by another Clark County Green Business, Exquisite Crystals
  • Their detailed hazardous waste management and disposal plan
  • Their reduction of chemical use in their building's landscaping
