Green Business is excited to tell you about our newest team member, Mackenzie Hagedorn, who will be serving her AmeriCorps term this year with us! Mackenzie just finished her master's degree in public affairs with a concentration in environmental policy and natural resource management and is excited to use her training to promote environmental justice in this and future positions! Mackenzie is excited to start working with Clark County Green Business to help decrease the amount of food waste generated by businesses from ending up in the landfill. She is hoping to utilize her time serving with AmeriCorps to promote just environmental communications, sustainable business practices, and a just transition to a net zero world.  

Mackenzie is new to the PNW area! After growing up in Florida and having just moved here from her graduate school in Indiana, she is excited to watch the seasons change and to have a milder winter than she had in Indiana. Keep an eye out for her at events, say hi, and tell her your favorite things to do in the area!
