A huge thank you to the Clark County Green Businesses that joined the Watershed Alliance to plant trees and shrubs along Burnt Bridge Creek!  By coming together to volunteer, they made a huge positive impact. Volunteers planted serviceberry, nootka rose, red osier dogwood, coyote bush, thimbleberry, ninebark, native cranberry, and more. This was the largest tree planting of the year so far for the Watershed Alliance, and we couldn't be more thankful for everyone who participated in the restoration of Burnt Bridge Creek.

By the numbers:

  • 7 participating businesses: Logitech, Waste Connections, Vintage Books, Jacobs, Columbia Bank, WaferTech, NW Staffing Resources
  • Total number of volunteers: 73
  • Number of native shrubs and trees planted: 500
